Here's a sample of some of the mountain locations we've visited and the routes we've climbed over the past few winters. The initial idea behind a gallery was to show the wild and beautiful places in Scotland where we regularly climb and walk. It's now just as much about the diversity of wonderful people I get to climb and be on the hill with each winter. Cameras are definitely the most fragile pieces of equipment to take up a hill. I've twice dropped mine the full length of a Scottish gully but on both occasions it was miraculously brought back to life in the repair shop. Following a recent soaking on Meall a Ghiubhais it has hung next to the kitchen stove drying for over two weeks showing no vital signs. Suddenly, it woke from its coma and is working perfectly again. If you're after a tough camera, get hold of a Pansonic LC1 .....they'll go anywhere.
